I just loved this weeks colors and made the top embossed panel on Tuesday. Then my creativity left on vacation and I had no idea what to do with my little embossed flower rectangle, so it just sat there on the dining room table. This morning, just as I was about to stash it in my box of "card parts in search of a home", I saw the MIX challange and my mojo returned. As usual, none of my rectangle decorative die cuts were the right size, so I had to make my own. I cut a rectangel out of the cardstock that I colored green, then used a Heartfelt creations border die along each of the long sides. I cut another rectangle and used a tag topper die cut to cut the top and bottom of the yellowish panel. After adhering the embossed panel I used a sizxix set of layered layer die cuts for tge sentiment. The flowers are from a cuttlebug rolled flower die cut. You will rarely hear me say this, but "it was a little too bright", so I sponged TH vintage photo on the edges and embossed flowers to tone it down. TFL, Francie

Oh my gosh, I can't believe I almost missed this. Everything about this is arty magic my sweet friend. I love the colours, especially the greeny-jade colour it reminds me of aged metal. Can't think of the word but it starts with V. I digress, this is brilliant!!!

Hey wonder woman, so glad you went back into your ' card parts in search of a new home' box. Finally, your mojo returned and your card part found a new home. This is really different for you, my sweet friend. Different in a good way, though. You took those colors to the max. Really neat tag. Honestly, I wish we had talked before you went into the dental field. I would have strongly encouraged you to explore painting and/or writing. Hopefully, you and the boys are finding peace. I just found mine and it took exactly 3 years. Hugs. xx
