The teal CS piece behind the main chicken is distressed: wet it and crumpled it and then split it/peeled off one layer. Is this called "suede" technique or something like that?
The main white background CS was stamped with the chickens, painted with H2Os, sponged edges, stippled all over, brushed sponge over, used Inkworx tool....should just started with cream or tan!

It's like you made your own Basic Grey paper!! This is so wonderful...time consuming, I bet...but wonderful!! :grin:
PS. I just noticed that the background chickens vary in colors...I found myself trying to find the two that "matched". I guess I've been doing too many kid puzzles.
