On my main panel, I masked off a strip across the bottom and sponged distress inks over the rest of the panel, then splattered with diluted inks of the same color, along with diluted white acrylic paint. Uncovered the bottom strip and sponged only green in this section. Die cut2 sets of the flowers, sponged one set and added just a touch of a darker color to give some definition. I stacked the 2 of these for some depth. Spritzed the flowers with shimmer spritz giving a lovely sparkle IRL. Used my new die to make a geometric border and attached this and the flowers to the main panel. Stamped sentiment, matted, and added sequins (just got these new iridescent sequins and they are gorgeous!).

This is an amazingly gorgeous background! It's perfect with the splatters and the border at the bottom.

eeeeeek .... I have to get myself off the floor!! That background is fantastic Maura - it draws you in where the yellow is and the wonderful flowers - I can feel them getting ready to dance. Stunning, yet again!
