I was elated to see Cheryl's name under the Tea Pot Party challenge today. Sheri, thanks so much for making this happen.
Cheryl is a dear friend and one who has been spiritually supportive of me while I was a caregiver to my husband. Cheryl was and is always so supportive with her kind loving comments that reflect her profound faith in God. She is also a most gifted and generous stamper to others in need of support.
Our worlds have changed a bit recently: Cheryl is experiencing intense chronic neurological pain. Cheryl's husband has come to her aid with helping her do the smallest of tasks. I'm thinking, right about now, Cheryl could use some cheering up from the teapotters.
As usual, I cheated "again" today. Sheri had asked us to bring scissors and other related incidentals to the party today to prevent the quilt from further unraveling. I didn't bring scissors or needles, but I did bring a pattern image and a button. I'm here on a wing and a prayer hoping that my humor will help everyone else prevent unnecessary damage to the quilt.
Cheryl, enjoy the spirit of the famous tea partiers who've crafted some wonderfully creations to send your way. Hugs and love, Anne

Oh, my dear and precious Anne, you are truly such a treasure here on SCS and encourage so many in this wonderful community! Thank you so much for sharing my health issues with the Teapotters, who are truly an amazing group of friends. I so love how we get to share and become friends and especially share our joys along with our sorrows and lift each other up in prayer. You've been there for me, and it's a joy to pray for you and John. God is so good. I am so humbled by your love and care. You have not been to a quilt workshop, but if you ever get to one, there is always someone who really doesn't quilt but just loves the social aspect of it. So you are that gal here at the tea party this week, and you are perfect for it with your delightful and sweet sense of humor! Hehe! And I love your card with this famous fashionable and classy gal in gold atop the beautiful sixties pattern background (yep, I remember patterns that looked like this one). And I love the button and the thread, so you did use your scissors a bit - along with chatting a LOT - haha! But you always make us smile, so quilters need someone like that when they are struggling with piecing or stitching. You are so loved, and I can't begin to thank you for your love and kindness. I am so deeply touched by your coming to the tea party for me! I am so encouraged and feel so loved. Thank you, precious friend! (I am working on the comments slowly and will be "busy" tomorrow at the doctor's for the "leg work" and hope that the doctor doesn't know my sis, Susie, so I don't walk out looking her "bird" legs! Hehe!) I love you so much, sweet Anne! xoxo

What a delicious shade of yellow you chose, Anne. The chic woman with the black and white pattern looks fantastic. I love the little button. I am so glad you started a card campaignfor Cheryl...she is such an inspiration to everyone at SCS.

Anne, I think I recall that there are no rules for the Tea Potters!
This card is fabulous - even if the stylin' gal is a bit on the slender side...!
Thanks for a bit of background. The two of you are such great representatives of the caring folks at SCS.

Yes - can remember dress patterns too - how did we find the time to do all that. Fun reading through the instructions - and it all coming back - that's a worry. I guess we now get our "fix" from cutting up paper and making wonderful cards like this.

My prayers go out to Cheryl.....Ann, and it's a good thing you have your humor, cause I haven't seen a card from you that has the challenge on it......hehehehe....Yah!! I know...."when was the last time I posted a card" I need you to kick me in the butt and get me busy....I have more money invested in this room too on card supplies, and machines....I got into knitting, but now it's starting to get warmer so I have to get back card making...all kidding aside...I'm glad to see your still hanging in here...

Sorry, Anne, I haven't been keeping up lately. What a Spectacular card you have pieced together!!!!! That gal has real flair...just like Cheryl, and yourself included of course!!! One can always count on you two to be there to pick a person up. Thanks to you and Cheryl for your loving ways of being there!
