This card covers three challenges, I have had this idea rattling around in my head since the Saturday "Inspiration Challenge", it also very loosely meets the "Try a New Technique Challenge" and this weeks "Colour Challenge" was perfect for the card.
This card would make a very good VSN card as it only took about thirty minutes to do.
Using a couple of the Asian Artistry stamps along with the greeting from the same set I stamped some So Saffron card then using the embossing folder embossed over the stamping I then lightly sponged eh raised embossing with the gold ink. The gold is a little hard to see in the photo but gives the card some understated shimmer.
I tied some gold cord around the card to tie in the gold sponging and then matted the front onto some Soft Sky and then the Smoky Slate base and there you have it.
Thanks for looking
Cheers Marg

Very nice - wonderful idea with the sunburst for the yellow.

Absolutely wonderful Asian inspired card, Marg. Using that EF was creative genius. It pairs so well with that SU set. Striking sense of peace and calmness.
