This week's challenge is all about our little corner of the world. I thought it would be fun and interesting to have a challenge to depict where we live. I live in the state of Wisconsin. It is located at the northeast or shoreline of Lake Michigan. The small county is named Kewaunee. The early settlers were from many nationalities....the surrounding areas names represents this well. If I take a 20 mile radius of my home, you can find places like Denmark, Cooperstown, Brussels, Luxemburg, Poland and Pilsen. Our county was made up of many farmers.....our state is known as America's Dairyland. Our county is small and rural...there is one stoplight and 30,000 cows. Just 20 miles north is the city of Green Bay...home of the professional football team...The Green Bay Packers. They are a big part of what we do on Sunday during the season. We are known for very good cheese, beer, cranberries, cherries, bratwurst, and small wineries. If you are wondering why my hearts are green...the Packer colors are green and gold. TFL, and I hope you can play in the challenge and have fun

Great challenge Linda. It's nice to learn something about SCS members. Your corner of the world sounds lovely and you've done a great job of portraying it with your lovely watercolor and sporty cows!

This put a big smile on my face when I saw it this morning, it's just totally delightful. What a happy, contented looking herd you have there. Switch them out for the big plastic bales of silage, and you might see local team slogans as you come into rural towns here!

This just put a huge smile on my face, Linda, with those cute Packer-loving cows : ) We have a family member who is a big Packers fan and our grandson can tell us all about them, lol! I love your beautiful background of trees and lake.

Linda, this is so funny and so cute at the same time! Love your show of affection and enthusiasm for Holsteins and packers! Good luck playing the Cardinals Saturday! We start off the weekend against the Chiefs and you play right after.
