This is a wonderful sketch, Ally. I just don't have a tall greeting, BUT, I do have a tall girl who is dreamin' of flying. When I saw your sketch I knew I would finally 'set' her free. Free to wish a Happy Birthday to someone special. Can you see the bones of the sketch?
I love Basic Grey patterns and just yesterday a couple of new to me collections made their way to my house. The butterfly background is from the 'Sun Kissed' group. I decided to keep it simple and made the birthday girl the focal. Chose a fancy bit of trim, stamped 'birthday wishes' directly onto the trim. Her shoes were stickled with Black Diamond and the dress was colored with Copics and the Stickles.
Here's hoping you can remember fancy party dresses, white cotton anklets and a pair of patent leather Mary Janes...carefree and adventuresome! I can fly, just like these butterflies! Thanks for stopping by.
editing to change photo, I added the black base, the Birthday Banner and am happy with the changes.

The tall sentiment was a difficult one - I was lucky to have just one. I like the tall girl - very creative take on the sketch and yup, I can see the bones of it! The butterfly background is perfect to express the idea of her taking flight.
