I just love making these little Christmas ornaments and attaching them to cards. For this one I used a ranger distress stain for the background then stamped the Tim Holtz Christmas blue print stocking using archival ink. the wood colours really well with pencils, but most things work. I've done some in alcohol pens and water colour pens.

Structurally, I think this will work well. Christine, how fun to use a stain. I've never seen what they looked like on paper, so I'm rightfully impressed. I love the blueprint stocking, too. OMGoodness, you are way too talented for this stamper. PS. I decided against buying the color pigments you used in another card: I knew I would never be able to recreate what you created using them. I've gotten smarter when it comes to trying to case your cards.
