As you see from my avatar I have a golden retriever his name is Dylan. The name was chosen from the Welsh poet Dylan Thomas, I'm holding on to my heritage .
Dylan is now almost 2 which means I have an 80lb dog with a puppy brain. I love this particular stamp out of the 3 in the penny black set as he's now learned to give himself a back scratch, which he does all the time at the beach with the sand. As you can imagine our house during the summer looks like a sand pit.
The sand is frantage embossing powder, I think it looks exactly like the sand flying around him as he wriggles around.

Smiling here because that also looks like George - our golden, who will be a 4 yo with a puppy brain!! I love the embossing for the sand - I can see it flying around.

Adorable!! I can just picture Dylan rolling around in the sand. My mom has a golden as well (his name is Noodle --- no kidding!). They just LOVE life ... and bring so much to ours. xx

Ay yi yi, I have no idea what I was doing the days you posted your cards but all I can say is I'm delighted to see them. I have this image and that FP too, but never thought of doing this little guy the way you've displayed him. Your card is a hoot but, more importantly, it resembles Dyland and my Marley, too. Sweet card.
