Thank you for a great story and a fun challenge Sandy.
I had a great time making this for a fellow Teapotter, knowing it was Tickle a Teapotter week....unfortunately disaster has struck since finishing it and taking the photo!!
I have been watching a few card making youtube tutorials lately where liquid glue is used. I make 99% of my card using double sided tape and for the other 1% of the time is a glue stick or Crayola white school glue.
I purchased some Tombow mono multi liquid glue. It says that it is both a permanent and repositionable glue. I never use anything that fancy so I should have realised that disaster was around the corner. The image is a digi by Make it Crafty (I think - I can't find it on my computer, my digi files are even messier than my acrylic stamp collection) I printed it twice, one image for the back scene and I cut the other one in half for each side step.
No copics were harmed in making this, cos' I didn't use any. Everything was coloured with Distress inks. Smack each colour onto al foil, squirt a very tiny bit of water in one corner, this will give you a gazillion shades of each colour. I applied the colour with an aqua pen, just wipe the brush tip on a baby wipe before moving onto the next colour. I also did a bit of colouring with Derwent Inktense pencils.
Using the tombow glue, I stuck everything on, took photos, checked that they turned out ok. The card was still a bit tacky so I let it sit on my desk overnight. Fast forward 12 hours and I put the card away...everything sounds good so far....Today I went to open the card so I could check that the little bike didn't need a bit more colour.
I was shocked to see that each fold is now stuck together!!! I was trying to gently pry each layer apart, not with a lot of success, so I used clean wet brush to see if that helped..........yep, I forgot that I used inktense pencils....water makes them spread and spread and spread. Needless to say, I will not be joining the tickle, but I am here at the Teaparty in spirit.

Oh no, a stamp-tastrophe! The photo shows an amazing creation and I can't imagine your horror at finding the card stuck together. How very sad, Susie, and I'm sorry to hear that. If there is any panel that is still intact maybe it could be mounted and sent off to your teapotter. Any panel of work from you would be fabulous to have. I guess the Tombow is now in your trash....

Wow - so many details and so many fun images! This is a treasure for sure. Now that parts of the card and smeared, I can see you rescuing it so it can live again - can't wait to see what you do! Sweet card. Fun but tragic story too. Hugz
