Thank you for a great story and a fun challenge Sandy.
I had a great time making this for a fellow Teapotter, knowing it was Tickle a Teapotter week....unfortunately disaster has struck since finishing it and taking the photo!!
I have been watching a few card making youtube tutorials lately where liquid glue is used. I make 99% of my card using double sided tape and for the other 1% of the time is a glue stick or Crayola white school glue.
I purchased some Tombow mono multi liquid glue. It says that it is both a permanent and repositionable glue. I never use anything that fancy so I should have realised that disaster was around the corner. The image is a digi by Make it Crafty (I think - I can't find it on my computer, my digi files are even messier than my acrylic stamp collection) I printed it twice, one image for the back scene and I cut the other one in half for each side step.
No copics were harmed in making this, cos' I didn't use any. Everything was coloured with Distress inks. Smack each colour onto al foil, squirt a very tiny bit of water in one corner, this will give you a gazillion shades of each colour. I applied the colour with an aqua pen, just wipe the brush tip on a baby wipe before moving onto the next colour. I also did a bit of colouring with Derwent Inktense pencils.
Using the tombow glue, I stuck everything on, took photos, checked that they turned out ok. The card was still a bit tacky so I let it sit on my desk overnight. Fast forward 12 hours and I put the card away...everything sounds good so far....Today I went to open the card so I could check that the little bike didn't need a bit more colour.
I was shocked to see that each fold is now stuck together!!! I was trying to gently pry each layer apart, not with a lot of success, so I used clean wet brush to see if that helped..........yep, I forgot that I used inktense pencils....water makes them spread and spread and spread. Needless to say, I will not be joining the tickle, but I am here at the Teaparty in spirit.

A wonderful card, Susie! LOVE your Farmer's Market scene. So much thought, so much work, so much heart. Yep, too much water can make the Inktense pencils ruuuun for their lives. Can't believe your masterpiece was ruined. Drats! :( Glad you got it uploaded b4 the flood, for our viewing pleasure. xx

I use Tombow glue a lot... Half of my cards are done with it, the other half I use double stick tape... I'm so sorry you had all of this trouble Susie... Then the issue with the pencils... It is so hard to see all of your hard work get ruined.... You deserve a big hug. So now the card is only a memory... It is a good thing you at least have the photo for all of us to enjoy. I love your scenes Susie... Awesome watecoloring on it... Well done my dear..... If you need another hug, just let me know....

I feel like crying after reading your story..Had it been my card and I'd put in all that work I would be! At least you have a photo to show how darling the card was....it's perfect for a Farmer's Market theme! I love the brick walls, all the pumpkins, and that cute lil' farm girl...all so adorable!! I use that glue but only for certain things..otherwise it's the ATG gun for me! Stick to tape (pun intended) ;)

Susie, ANY Teapotter would be honored to have this card, and I'm so sorry you ran into trouble. How very frustrating, because your coloring is amazing and the card is awesome! I'm like you, double sided tape is my go to adhesive, with few exceptions. It's so sad that someone will miss out on this little work of art!

What an incredible card, particularly all that coloring! Love the way you did the bricks on this one! I can't believe you were willing to color all that! You add so many dimensional elements to these scenes that it sure would have made someone happy to receive this! So sorry to hear about the glue accident too. NOT fun when you are all done!

Thank heaven you got a good photo before disaster struck, because this is so cute. My cards usually explode before I get a photo. Your cards have such terrific dimension... I could just walk down that road. Faved even though it no longer exists.
