Hello everyone! Today's WT is butterflies! We are in full butterfly mode lately and I wanted to share a card I actually made previously but wanted to show here. It used some new products released from ODBD this month.
I cut scraps of Shabby Rose dp, layered them on a larger piece from the same pack and sewed them in place, even though my sewing machine absolutely hates paper!!! LOL! Anyway... I then used a wide piece of lace for the bottom of the card and added the sentiment. The butterflies are stamped with Memento and colored with copics, then die cut with the matching Butterfly and Bugs die set. I die cut another layer from vellum and instead of putting it on top like we usually do, I put it under the butterflies for a shadow effect. I offset it just a little so you can see it and I thought it gave the look of movement in the wings.
Thanks so much for looking!

Lovely card, Grace. You're so right - sewing machines don't like cards. They dull the needle that's why I decided not to sew anymore on cards. Anyway, your cluster of 4 delicate prints are beautiful today. Love the added lace and ribbon as well.

Wow! This is totally gorgeous! I am always completely impressed with fancy stitching on cards! I tried it once and screwed up my machine, so I don't do that now.
