I went upstairs to my craft room (a.k.a. craft disaster) at 9:15 last night to make this card, thinking it would just take me a few moments ( I had an idea & a piece of paper). Well, at 10:45 I finally went back downstairs. I think part of my problem is my room is a mess and I can never find what I'm looking for. So I shall call myself the tortoise. I didn't even do any paper piecing on this sweet Pure Innocence girl. I started with the idea of this card here by Kharmagirl Hey, Pumpkin! by Kharmagirl at Splitcoaststampers
changing Halloween into Easter. I used a piece of the OSW that I've been working on with the tulip paper. This was piece number nine, but I skipped a few in between because I wanted to try the idea. A one sheet wonder is supposed to help you make a lot of cards in a short time, say a couple of hours. But I take weeks anyway...

Sweet card - I like the overlapping pennants hanging down from the top. I know what you mean about not being able to find things - sometimes I look around and think, " How can I not see _____, it was just here!"

Elizabeth, I think this card is darling and so worthy of taking what you might perceive as an inordinate amount of time. I love the image uncolored with just a hint of yellow on her shoes. Karmagirl's card is darling but so is yours. You did a great job casing Jody's card.

This challenge has been a great teacher for all us hasn't it Elizabeth. I think if we're all honest, we go back and forth between tortoise and hare on any given card. Sometimes we have an idea and think, "yeah, that can work" and then... a few hours later we make a detour. And... hey, we like it! It's part of the process all of us love so much. It's what makes your card so sweet and charming. You made something today that made your heart sing - I like that!

I have never done osw, but how funny because I was just doing a wee bit of checking into it last night, and like you, I would not be quick about using it up. Your card turned out really cute and I like the image that way. It is so much easier to craft in a clean and organized space, but making just one card shoots all that to pieces:((!!

Love the little banners!
Staying tidy definitely helps me having more time to create when I spend less time trying to find something. But even so, just make one card and I can mislay my ruler or knife or something equally vital.
