This is for Joan's fun TLC challenge - a scene in a circle.
I spent hours and hours creating this background....liar, liar, pants on fire!!! I did a gelli plate background with acrylic paint, it turned to mud. When it was dry and I got over my hissy fit, I sprayed some dylusions ink onto al foil then swished the card stock around in the inky puddle.
Once it was dry I tried to spray some white dylusions ink onto the cardstock....the nozzle was blocked....I removed the lid.....the white stuff is all over my desk, but I managed to dab my card in some of it, and here is the result.
I added my new Lavinia stamps die...job done. Thank you for looking, if you don't hear from me for a while, it is because I am still trying to get the white painty ink off my desk.

Your new L. die is taking you to new heights with your backgrounds! These fairies look mesmerized by the glowing sky, as if they are having thoughts of Mr Spock, off somewhere in the mighty Universe! What a fantastic Background - even if it started as a "muddy mess", you have magically taken us to a place "where no man has gone before"! LOVE this sky sprayed with your white dylusions - hope you get it cleaned up so you can make more cards today - Hugs!

As soon as you said you took the lid off I knew what happened!! I had to laugh out loud, I'm so sorry Susie! I know it isn't REALLY funny but the way you tell it...it just makes me crack up!
I LOVE your bg. If you TRIED to do that I wonder if it would have turned out so goo!! So funny how that works. So glad you didn't throw it away when it turned to mud. Love how you kept adding stuff.
Love your cute die cut too. those fairies are sooo cute!

You gotta watch out for that white painty ink, it will getcha every time! Love this. Your bg is fabulous and that die is so pretty. Very unique. I want to get some geli plates but have no one to teach me anything. Guess You Tube and I will become close friends again.

Still laughing from the story attached to your card - I feel for you - that is just what would happen to me too - yes it would be on my new dining table as well!!! Each time I hear your stories I put an extra cover on the table. Aussie, Aussie, Aussie - hey! Have just checked it out as I went to bed early last night with a stinking headache. How did we coordinate that? I do love this card and your wonderful tribute to Spock.

The background on this one looks awesome! Sounds like you had some messy fun :-)
Yes, I am 'Elizabeth' from the ODBD DT :-) I think I've confused people by using my "code" name Alshandra :-) But a little bit of mystery / confusion is fun :-)
