We're having hot sunny summery weather here! I'd love to be with Cathy at the beach . Instead I'm doing some major multi-tasking with this card since it's averaging in the mid-eighties in my attic, with no air-con.
Cathy's challenge ~ WT484 Sand
It's also for this week's MMTPT307 The Ocean Can Calm the Troubled Soul challenge - this image seemed to capture Sheri's poem so perfectly - and for the current One Layer Card ODBD challenge.
I cut the base and used the SAMJ to position the image in the centre of the card. Scored round the edge of the image twice, leaving a gap above the tall grasses. Coloured the sun, rocks, grass and foam with pencils, then with masking I sponged the sea, sky and sand in.
Added some Stickles, and a sentiment. With a Versamark pen I added some Old Paper distress ep to the sand.

What a gorgeous peaceful scene Sabrina!!! I LOVE that stamp and you colored it so perfectly! How wonderful it would be to sit in the sand and feel the ocean breezes! Fantastic, calming card!!!
Sabrina, this is gorgeous! What beautiful coloring on this scene. I want to be there watching the sun go upor down. Both are my favorite times a day at the beach.

Wow Sabrina this is so beautiful. This is like a mini work of art and should be framed. Our weather is completely opposite to yours. It is the winter solstice today....yay!
