I had so much fun playing along with today's Inspiration Challenge! I love the bright happy colors and whimsical style on the Mackenzie-Childs website.

It took awhile to make the checkerboard from strips of black & white cardstock..but I like the way it looks...so all is good!

WOW..I'm impressed with your checkerboard...it's awesome! I really liked all those b/w checks paired with bright colors like you've done here..great take on your inspiration!

WOW, Doni...all that fine paper weaving to obtain your checkerboard....such a signature motif of MacK-C these past years. Even your choice of colors is spot on. YOU created a fun and cheery card.

Oh my gosh Doni! you aren't kidding you should have had my checkerboard stamp! what a labor of love - you captured the colors of many of the items on this site perfectly! You'll have to send this to a VERY special friend - who will keep it FOREVER!!

Wowza! I was trying to think of a way to recreate the black and white checks, I never would have had the patience to weave like this! Wonderfully cheerful card.
