Alex loves giraffes, and I can understand why, they have such pretty faces, as long as they don't stick out their blue tongues!
We have a place up the road called Safari West, where you can go and see wild animals like the giraffes here. Sometime when driving by, if the giraffes or other animals are near the road you can see them. Who'd a thunk, that right smack in the middle of wine country, you can go on a safari, just as if you were on the Serengeti!
I got this pair off the internet, colored and fussy cut them. The bg is a Tim Holtz embossed tree and landscape done by me with water color pencils. I'm saying this is a scene from Safari west.
I hope all these giraffes going Alex's way, put a smile on her face and in her heart!

Yikes, I didnt know giraffes had blue tongues. Come to think of it, I dont think I've ever seen one! Your image is lovely and the bg scene you created is just as great.

How sweet! Love this image, Jennifer and the beautifully done BG. Great fussy-cutting...love the idea that you can see giraffes hanging out in your neighborhood sometimes. Wonderful card, Alex will love this!
