The tea potters are making cards to send to Joan aka Scrappinmama72inPA for her birthday. Joan has some medical problems and her daughter, Emily, thinks we can cheer her up with some birthday cards.
My card took a whole different turn. When I colored the butterfly, I was going to use some bright colors on a white back ground. Well, somewhere it took a different turn and became more subtle. Had I known I was going to do this, I would have not used the orange on the butterfly. I would have used a softer color.
I am late today, but I did come in the front door. Wow, that is a switch. I hope Joan has a nice birthday.

Wow, you still have some Cool Carribean?? Unbelievable how long you have HOARDED that, Sistah!! Glad you finally found just the right card for it though - this is perfect, down to the last wee bloom!!
GREAT how you used so many different things to layer it all up - as far as the orange on your flutterby - I LOVE IT!! Pops it just enough to make it beautiful!! Guess my wild side is showing since I think the orange is awesome!~!
Hugs!!

SO pretty - I like the bit of orange! And I really like the delicate look of the swirls and doily - and the newsprint is a great touch as well. Makes me think her special day is making the news!
