The tea potters are making cards to send to Joan aka Scrappinmama72inPA for her birthday. Joan has some medical problems and her daughter, Emily, thinks we can cheer her up with some birthday cards.
My card took a whole different turn. When I colored the butterfly, I was going to use some bright colors on a white back ground. Well, somewhere it took a different turn and became more subtle. Had I known I was going to do this, I would have not used the orange on the butterfly. I would have used a softer color.
I am late today, but I did come in the front door. Wow, that is a switch. I hope Joan has a nice birthday.

Shirley, this is so beautiful. I love the touches of orange in the butterfly.. Really like the doily matting, tiny flowers, leaf flourish and pretty colours. Joan will love receiving this beauty.
Hugs..Pat

Well, Shirt...you been headed off in different directions all day but at least you ended up at the teaparty! Snort! Ooh, I love the orange...its a soft and subtle card and the contrast on the butterfly just looks awesome in my humble opinion! What awesome dies you used to get your leaves...and flowers....and that doily and newsprint in the background makes a nice little comfy spot for a butterfly to hang! I love it and I know Joan will too! Thanks for coming to the teaparty especially after changing directions so much! hee!
