I had a lot of Anna Griffin paper scraps, but I wanted them to be more uniform, so I brayered either ballet blue or rose romance over them then sanded each piece real good to age them. After I had finished the garden collage panel (sponged with more mustard), I used a really fun new technique--fire!! That's right, I set it on fire and burned off the right side. It was very exciting! Then I stamped out two more butterflies and pop dotted their little wings, although the bodies are glued flat to the paper. Finally, I thought I would put in a little faux stitching sampler, even carrying the "thread" from the burned piece into the black panel. White embossed "Thinking of You." Whew!
