The challenge is to make at least two cards from the same main image-sort of the same but different. I used all the same papers, punch and Cool Cat set and just changed the background and scissor shapes for a new look. The oval is cut with scissors and has some chalk/pastels shading the edge.
In order to get a good solid image of the cat I stamped it using a positioner about three times.
To give the flowers and dimensional look I score each petal with a straight line using the small end of a stylus for dry embossing then use the larger end and just make circles around the center. Do this on a soft surface; I use a paper towel folded to four layers.

Awesome! I love how you have used your patterned scissors. I have a ton and never think to use them. I can't decide which one I like better. You did a great job on the bg for each of them.

Oh, Rox.... I always LOVE your work! I also like how you explain the way you do this and that!! These cards are (as usual) awesome!!
FANTASTIC job with the challenge!!
(I picked up a tip, at our local stamp festival, for getting good images with solid stamps.... After you put the rubber to the c/s and press.... let it set there for several seconds. This allows the ink to absorb into the c/s a bit better. It's worked for me.... although, this cat does look like it'd be a stinker!!) ;)

I have to say, Rox...I'm not fond of this little kitty, but what you've done with it is adorable!!! For a fav...I'd have to say that the right one is cute with the popped out flowers. TFS!!
