The challenge is to make at least two cards from the same main image-sort of the same but different. I used all the same papers, punch and Cool Cat set and just changed the background and scissor shapes for a new look. The oval is cut with scissors and has some chalk/pastels shading the edge.
In order to get a good solid image of the cat I stamped it using a positioner about three times.
To give the flowers and dimensional look I score each petal with a straight line using the small end of a stylus for dry embossing then use the larger end and just make circles around the center. Do this on a soft surface; I use a paper towel folded to four layers.

How cute! I like them both of course. They are sort of the same, but distinctly different in a really great way! Love the flowers and the different BG's. I love the way you used the scissors for your edges around the oval and square. TFS
