This card ended up being for 3 challenges - I didn't plan it that way - it just sort of fell into place. Squigglefly's 109 challenge was to use handwriting or marking on your card - and I used white gel "squiggles" around my snowflake punches and I used a beautiful Squigglefly image called "Kris Kringle." I followed the sketch at Midnight Madness, but flipped the top panel; and the TSC0805 is my week to give the challenge: Make a Christmas card - not using the typical Christmas red/green (I used blues/check); Emboss or use an embossing folder (I used a CB EF called Snowflakes/check); Use a die or punch (I used 3 MS punches/check); At least 3 layers (not counting the card front) check; and at least one embellishment (used SU gem brads) check. Whew! Thanks for taking a look. My blog.

AMAZING! I feel like I am looking right at Santa. This is so realistic. The skin tones and hoary brows and beard are life like. Well done my friend.

Kathy, this is fabulous. I love that image of Santa and the sparkle looks so icy. I better be good because he looks real and seems he is trying to find out if I've been naughty or nice. LOL Love it!

You really colored this? Really? OK I'm back...wow! This is hands down the most beautiful coloring that I have ever seen on this site. I read over your post like six times to be sure...(can you tell I'm excited? I used the word like in a comment - LOL). Everything about this card from the embellies to your un-conventional colors are just right. Superlatives of every kind are needed to describe this total masterpiece (I don't ever use that word either). Amazing work, Kathy. thanks for sharing your talent with us
