This is for IC278 and the Outer Banks Trading Group is our inspiration site today. I visit the Outer Banks every year for our family gathering and was thrilled to see this site for the challenge. I was inspired by all the umbrellas in a piece of wall art called Secrets http://www.obxtradingroup.com/index....312&parent=129
I stamped the envelopes and other images on watercolor paper, colored with reinkers and a brush, embossed with vera and clear embossing powder and then cut out. I created a simple ocean/beach scene for the background and popped up all the umbrellas and towels, etc to be the main focus of the project. I love the ocean and sitting out under an umbrella watching the surf and sky on a warm Cape Hatteras summer day.

Gorgeous framing of your beach scene! Wonderful colors and composition, a work of art as usual! I've only been to the Outer Banks once, but it is a trip I'll remember forever (being a land-locked Texan!!)! So glad you joined the IC this weekend Kittie!

Oh my goodness, I feel like I'm at the beach (which is wonderful on a 40 degree day!). Your framing is fabulous, Kittie, and so is the sand and surf!! Those umbrellas on the outside of the frame give it so much depth!!! I love it!

We got to OBX every year too, Kittie. Well, there certainly are oodles and oodles of umbrellas as you drive through the area, so your card is a perfect reflection of the area.
