The theme for the Our Daily Bread Designs Shining the Light Challenge ODBDSLC55 is “Birds”. Use a bird image, punched bird, or birds on your designer paper. I chose a scripture from Our Daily Bread Designs Scripture Collection 1, and framed it using ODBD's Spellbinders Elegant Ovals, sponging around the verse, and added leaves from Faith. I surrounded the words with pressed flowers from Nature's Pressed Flowers. The designer paper in the background has a running stitch (learned from the uber talented Koirose!) My little bird was actually from a napkin ring and was hot glued into his lil nest.
Hope you join us this week, ODBD's Design Blog on Saturday, April 2. Please use the keyword ODBDSLC55 so we can enjoy your creations too! Thanks for looking!

Wow, I sure hope those ODBD nesties are going to be at the Allentown, PA show next weekend - I am "lustiing" after them big time after seeing them on all your cards!!
The true beauty of spring shines forth in this gorgeous easel card - Birds build their nests, the flowers begin to grow, and the Love of God swells within us as we invite Him into our hearts to make us all new again! A beautiful message in your card, Pat, and, as always, straight from your heart!
LYMI - what a card, Sis!!

What a darling bird and nest (from a napkin ring???? - you find things in the most unusual places). All the greenery and flowers and papers and stitches are really special and this is one great creation. Such an inspiring card - I need to get some ODB stuff so I can play in these beautiful challenges. Hugz and LYMI!

How beautiful. Those flowers are gorgeous. You just reminded me that I have one of those flower presses. Do you think I can find it? Oh well, nothing to press here but rain and mud anyway!
