The theme for the Our Daily Bread Designs Shining the Light Challenge ODBDSLC55 is “Birds”. Use a bird image, punched bird, or birds on your designer paper. I chose a scripture from Our Daily Bread Designs Scripture Collection 1, and framed it using ODBD's Spellbinders Elegant Ovals, sponging around the verse, and added leaves from Faith. I surrounded the words with pressed flowers from Nature's Pressed Flowers. The designer paper in the background has a running stitch (learned from the uber talented Koirose!) My little bird was actually from a napkin ring and was hot glued into his lil nest.
Hope you join us this week, ODBD's Design Blog on Saturday, April 2. Please use the keyword ODBDSLC55 so we can enjoy your creations too! Thanks for looking!

Sistah Pat! You just have the most gorgeous way of dressing up a frame and bringing such vibrant, elegant life to your creations. Hee, Hee, I hope one of the napkin rings on your table isn't looking like it's been "plucked". You do find the most interesting embellies in such a variety of places. Love your creativity!
