Today is the time we are celebrating a new Queen, Kim aka Luv Flowers. What a yummy gallery she has. I found several cards I loved but I kept going back to this beautiful CAS card. CAS90, Quick... by Luv Flowers at Splitcoaststampers
I have really been into CAS cards, and enjoyed making a few recently.
I have something very nice to tell about Kim. She pm'd me once and gave me a compliment about something. She said she had been thinking it, so she decided to go ahead and tell me. Then, she said, 'Why hold on to nice thoughts?" I have always remembered that and it is so true. Let those nice thoughts be said.
I kept Kim's sketch. I really liked the tear on hers and all that beautiful greenery. But, I ended up with my favorite flower, the tulip, stamped and colored three times. Cut out two and popped up. I added a ribbon but it turned out to be the wrong color so I went with my rick rack punch and used matching dp. Most of my ribbon ,in the right color, was too wide. Unlike Kim's card, I did let a bit of the dp show on the bottom and right side of my card.
Kim, you have a super gallery of cards and I hope you have a lovely time this week being Queen.

What a sweet thing for Kim to tell you and how that that simple statement is. I hope to remember that too.
Your case is awesome. I love your beautiful tulip and the ric-rac punch was a perfect choice. A real CAS beauty Benz.

Thanks for sharing that wonderful story about Kim!! She really is a sweetheart and so encouraging, isn't she? You both really know how to rip some paper right, and I love that layered tulip (the dimension looks great!). Your CASE is fabulous.

Benzi I just love the torn edges of the dp. It adds so much interest and character to this card. The tulip looks beautiful on it and I am still loving that rick rack punch that I have not found yet!!! Very pretty.

Don't know how I missed this Benzi! I must have been too busy trying to get my antique punch to make a hole in my paper! Lovely - and such a sweet story about the reigning Queen! RYPH! You goof!
