I missed last week's party and I am so glad to be back in the fun. This little mouse is hiding from the cats on the water tower. He thinks they are real. He is hiding in the shadow of the flower that resembles the mudder's middle flower on her card. I am saying that the center of the flower is an antique button (my nose is growing....) and the flowers in the dp represent the style of flowers on the mudder's card. I think the dp gives this card the country feel. As you can see, I am not fully rested from my week in Kansas City, MO with Builders for Christ.
This little mouse with the string on his tail reminds me of a story way back when I was first married in our new little very old house. It had a crawl space and I did not know that there was a hole behind the stove where mice would come to visit. My first encounter with one of my guests was in our bathroom. We had a small bookcase of reading material.....and I heard a noise. I picked up the bookcase and saw my friend. It squealed and I yelled and during our introduction, I dropped the bookcase on its tail. He was squealing and I was yelling so I picked up the bookcase and we both ran out of the bathroom, down the same hall....he went right and I went left. We sounded like a herd of something running side by side. I had my husband plaster and duct tape the hole!!! Duct tape is my friend.
Thank you for looking.

I was just thinking to myself that the centre of the flower had a great old-fashioned look - does that help shrink your nose .
Mice - I don't mind them in the garden, where I was always rescuing them from my cat. But I don't think they belong indoors. I'd certainly get a shock if I met one in my dad's bathroom, although I know he has plenty of them.
