I wanted to use Print Pattern for this background because I think of argyle as a golfer's sweater pattern. I stamped all three images with Ultramarine Stazon, and I discovered something here: Stazon resists bleaching! On the two smaller images I overstamped with Canvas and Bordering Blue, then used bleach in an aquapainter to remove color from some parts, such as the tops of the clouds, lower trees, sandtrap, golf clubs and bag. I then colored those parts in with watercoloring (Bordering Blue) and pastels. Kind of the same effect as masking, only without having to cut out the mask. On the main image I watercolored the background parts with Bordering Blue reinker (for some reason it has a hint of green to it), then colored some of the images with pastels.

Needed to make a golfer card for a friend, so I came up to check out the gallery. And, of course, I would pick yours out, Linda, you are so brilliantly talented, love the use of all the stamps, too. Thanks so much.
