I wanted to use Print Pattern for this background because I think of argyle as a golfer's sweater pattern. I stamped all three images with Ultramarine Stazon, and I discovered something here: Stazon resists bleaching! On the two smaller images I overstamped with Canvas and Bordering Blue, then used bleach in an aquapainter to remove color from some parts, such as the tops of the clouds, lower trees, sandtrap, golf clubs and bag. I then colored those parts in with watercoloring (Bordering Blue) and pastels. Kind of the same effect as masking, only without having to cut out the mask. On the main image I watercolored the background parts with Bordering Blue reinker (for some reason it has a hint of green to it), then colored some of the images with pastels.

I have been looking at this card for ten minutes and keep noticing new little details. There is so much work put into this card. I absolutely LOVE the Print Pattern set with this. I love the tiny golfers stamped on the Print Pattern back ground. The colours are stunning. The bleaching is perfect. This is probobly my most fave card ever. And i just ordered this set today and now I can't wait to use it with my Print Pattern BG which I would have never thought to do, but looks perfect with this set!
