Da Muddermark has us traveling to an apple orchard today in Rockingham County today to help save Annie Mae Appleseed (a direct descendant of Johnny). Annie is a professional apple picker and it seems she's bein' picked on by some of the other [bad] apple pickers who resent her new ways and the beaucoup bucks she's makin' over them! You can git all the deets here:
Bertie is on her way with apple martinis to help out the Apple Dumplin' gang to save Annie Mae (who, by the way, has promised Bertie and her tea party pals a bit of cashola for stampin' supplies! Woot!). Some of ya might want to wear protective head gear in case the shennanigans resort to bad apple flingin'. My friend, Maxie, is gonna be there, too, and she use to be a professional baseball pitcher, so beware!
Hey! Ya wanna know how you make a bad apple turnover? Push it down hill!!!! Bwa-haaa-haaa-haaa!

Charlene, I see you'ved used RN's Kittie Scenes. How great is that. She'll be mighty proud of your work and your willingness to promote these stamps to those down home kinda folks on the range...oh no, not the range ~ I mean the farmer's market. Sweet sweet coloring. I cant do scenes like you and Kittie.

Now what I really want to know is who is Maxie? Is that another alter-ego you have configurated in your lil noggin to displace the blame that will surely be coming Bertie's way if there is some apple flingin goin' on??
Charlene, I am sorry I missed your call, I must've just missed it though. But thanks for the sweet message, and I will try to call you back another day soon!!
Love your lush scene with all the bountiful leaves and grass...I love that Kittie scene leaf and your copic coloring is marvelous!!

Look at that tree, man is it ever beautiful Charlene. How I love how it looks, your scene is perfect. Very well done on the beauty here! The little buttons are a fine embellishment too. Love it. TFS
Now, where is that Bertie, flinging, slinging gal anyway! I sure could use her arm right about now. I think I may have had to many apple-tinis and I need someone to hold on to. LOL
Maxie is that kind of girl. She may be classy when circulating in higher spheres of society, but when she gets into barn dances, appletinis and mysteries, she just looses it. Sorry about the inconvenience Charlene. LOL

Got so interested in trying to remember the song I forgot to tell you I thought your apple turnover joke was cute. I could have used it when teaching my apple song!

What a fabulous scene, Charlene! Your coloring is phenomenal! So you and Bertie are the ones that started with the apple martinis! I should have known! I am going to stay low so as not to get hit with the flying apples! You always have to be on alert at the tea parties!
