Julie (justritedesigns) asked if I would take up the inspirational challenge (DDIC3) based on some pillows from the Pottery Barn. I'm happy to say I just figured out how to show the link here: http://www.potterybarn.com/products/...outdoor-pillow
Anyway, the inspiration are pillows with green, yellow and white (stripes and flowers). I've never done an inspiration card before, so I was a bit nervous and the beautiful cards the other stampers made were out of this world. But, I've done my best. It also fits the going green challenge (CT0409) to use green in your card.
I used striped pp to go with the stripes I saw and the daisies, primas and leaves address the rest of the inspiration pieces. I used daisies instead of dahlias.
The colors are much brighter than I normally use, but that's what I felt from the pillows - bright and springy and cheerful!!! If nothing else, it will wake you up; hence, my title!!! LOL!!!
This did not come out anything like what I planned. Somehow I changed it mid course, but I think I really achieved what I saw in the pillows.
If you want the link to this challenge, as there are some prizes associated with it, go to Just Right Designs (Julie's Gallery) and she has it posted on her submission or go to her blog. They would really like to have a lot of people participate in these challenges!!! Julie has been great helping me try to learn more about staging my cards. She does wonderful work and staging!!!!
Thanks so much for looking and if you have a chance, let me know what you think.

Pam, Pam, this is just gorgeous and I'm loving these bright colors. Your daisies are just the best and great use of the picket fence. I have certainly been noticing how beautifully staged your cards are and I'm jealous!!!!!;)

Silly girl, havent you noticed most of us never think our creations equal those of our fellow scsers! This card is fantastic let me tell you. I could never create a card like this, and that's no lie. I love that small flower stamp and the colors you've selected are brilliant and bold ... just like flowers! How could you go wrong with this card? You cant!

You're right - this one will wake you up! Love the daisy stamp - sounds like your Costco carries a better variety of crafty items! Great punched border and I love the layered sentiment - have to get that scalloped oval into service now that I'm home from our trip!

What a wonderful compliment to your work with Julie's request! Trust me, you're right up there with the heavy hitters on SCS! There's no doubt about that. This card is glorious: wonderfully bright paper, embellishements and creativity. It's all here and it's got everything anyone elses cards could have.
