For Limited Supply LSC219 - That's a holiday? and Ways to Use .... Kraft paper WT217 and also for StampinB's challenge to spotlight.
So - May Day falls on May 1 and I designed my card based on the tradition of this holiday. WAY back, the May Pole was a pole made of wood - usually maple, with streamers and/or flowers hanging down.
For my spotlight, I cut out a circle from the kraft cardstock and mounted it on black cardstock. I decided to use my Inkadinkado flourish as it contains maple leaves and flowers. The image is embossed with black and gold - looks shinier in real life! The kraft paper is raised with the help of dimensionals. For the May pole ribbon I added some satin black ribbon in the corner of my card. A SU rub-on sentiment finishes it off!
Thanks for taking a peek!

Aye, brings back memories of dancing round the Maypole on Glasgow Green sure it does! Laurie, this is yet another beautiful card. Luv the detail spotlight with the gold embossing. I'm sure missing seeing your work IRL ... lot of catching up to do when I get back. Cheers!
