Congratulations to Lori (Stamp Momma) on being today's featured stamper! Lori is quite the talented stamper and so lucky to be going to CHA! It's my dream to some day be able to attend CHA and meet so many wonderful stampers!
It took me a while to decide which one of Lori's fabulous cards I wanted to case. I finally settled on this gorgeous card I found in her CHF Designs album because I like how she stamped on the designer paper:
Things I changed:
1. colors
2. stamp sets
3. oval hp hardware
4. faux stitching
I stamped the Best Blossoms leaves in Close to Cocoa onto the dp. I stamped a couple Petal Prints flowers in Bravo Burgundy, but I didn't like how it looked. So, I stamped the flowers from Best Blossoms onto Close to Cocoa, cut them out and sponged their edges with Chocolate Chip. I like the contrast and dimension of these better.
I don't own a sewing machine, so I had to do faux stitching. Lori's real stitching is so beautiful, and I like how she zig-zagged just a small portion on her card, so I kept that the same.
TFL!
