1) For this weekÂ’s Variety challenge, we had to pick a cake and then Peggy PMÂ’d us the recipe. I selected Rainbow Chip Cake.
The recipe: PP with rainbow colors, flowers, stitching, rub-ons, ribbon.
2) The theme was from Jennipher's Designing with Out-takes Challenge (IFC15).
3) I also used SallyÂ’s sketch SBSC154.
The alphas are popped up and are very sparkly, the stitching (bottom right) is hard to see and is actually rub-ons since my sewing machine is buried right now. The swirly border at left is also a rub-on. I used ribbon as the top border on one photo and the journaling. I put Stickles on three little butterflies that Kirsten recently sent me. (Thanks, Kirsten!)
Journaling: *One day while you were all at our house, Maddie Bear and her family made a surprise visit. Jaycie and her little friend were overjoyed to see each other. They squealed and hugged and talked up a storm (although I canÂ’t say I understood too much of it!) Our Mady and Maddie Bear seemed really delighted to see each other too.
It was such a happy reunion that I just had to get some photos (so whatÂ’s new?!?). I kept snapping shots hoping IÂ’d wind up with one where you all were smiling and looking at the camera at the same time. Quite a feat, but I think I succeeded! These pictures just make ME smile!*
I hope to get at least one more cake recipe challenge done because this was such a fun page to do!
