I am your hostess this week and I have chosen Night of Navy and Baja Blue - desert is something gold (think bling, embossing, gold foil cs…). I made one card with desert and one without. For this card I masked the hills and moon and sponged to create hills and a winter sky. With the hill masks in place (each one separately), I stamped the trees in Navy. After removing the masks, I sponged around the edges of the main panel, stamped the sentiment and then splattered some acrylic white paint (diluted) to create the snow. I can’t seem to stop splattering every card in sight these days! Attached the panel to my card front with dimensionals for depth. Come and join in the challenge – you may be our next favorite!!

Oh Maura! This is such a gorgeous scene! I love how you have created this and the colors you used. The hills, night sky and trees are beautiful. That simple "Silent Night" sentiment captures the feel of the card. What a wonderful design eye.
