So overdue for Karen to be Featured Stamper this week. Her gallery has always amazed me. I was going to try out some black magic as Karen created some beautiful cards with the technique, but I chickened out and opted for, what I thought, would be a quick simple card - NOT!!
It's not your fault Karen, I just got carried away as usual. Karen's very lovely one-layer card is the one I chose to case seen here:
I took this card to places I NEVER intended, but guess I was just so inspired by Karen's gallery. I ended up with several layers, embossing, glitter, punches, ribbon and bling. Let's just say it's CAS gone astray.
I'm trying to work more on scenery and coloring, so thought this would be a good time to practice once again. I couldn't find just the right ribbon for the top like Karen had, so I opted to use card stock with a bordered punch and added ribbon and bling to the top of the border.
At the last minute, I decided to use my fence punch in front of the flowers. I lightly highlighted a couple birds that were on the embossing folder and added a trio of butterflies who just happen to be flying in perfect unison - what can I say? In my world, it must be balanced!! LOL!!
I embossed the sentiment in white on the fence and I popped up the main panel on dimensionals.
ENJOY your special week Karen and if I have time, I may try another or work on that black magic.
Thanks SO MUCH for taking the time to look and have a great week!!

So lovely!! I love your take on Karen's beauty of a card. These colors are perfect together and I really like all of your extra special touches. That fence border is adorable and I love the look of your daisy chain (with sparkly centers!) at the top. So very nicely done!! Thanks for the great eye candy

Wowie, girl!!! This is so beautiful with so many lovely details. I love the flower border punch at top with the bling embellishments and your use of the picket fence punch at the bottom for your flower garden. You got a blue ribbon winner for sure here, Pam!!

This is wonderful, love the picket fence inside and out! I noticed that the stamping and embossed worked out perfectly together to give that garden-like feel. AWESOME job! TFS

That's it ~ I've had it over here. Yes, I'm fed up with all these fabulous cards you make day after day. I've ordered a very sophisticated software today just to be able to detect where or not you are the original artist of these creations. With all that's on your table, it's pretty darn hard to think you find the time to make these amazing cards. Whoever made this card, I applaud your fabulous use of colors and design. Someone did a really fantastic job with this gem.
