When we scuba dived, DH was heavy into macro photography which required a lot of patience. The top right and middle left are called christmas tree worms which are tiny little creatures that slowly emerge from the coral and spiral out in the shape of a tree--if they feel any movement, they shoot back into the coral in a flash. The others are macros of coral polyps and the center is a sea fan popped up on dimensionals. This is 6x6 and will have it matted and framed for his birthday. Thankful for computer editing which made the cropping a breeze. Had something like this in mind when I saw the WT challenge to use photos.

How beautiful! I love this! I thought it was wonderful even when, at first, I thought they were commercial pictures! But his own personal photos....what a wonderful gift! He is gonna treasure it!

Awesome photos! My DH dives, but doesn't have the patience to take pics like these (or the camera!). I'm sure he'll love it!

The WOW factor on this is so high (stratospheric!) that I had to revise my scale. This is graphic arts nirvana! Thanks so much for sharing it. When I see cards I love I often add a piece of equipment to the 'must-have' list; however, I'm a little hesitant to add diving gear, lessons, nerve, etc., to the list so I hope you post more on this theme. Truly beautiful!
