Today's WT524 was essentially one that asks you to decide if you are a hare or a tortoise. Unbelievably, I'm neither. I am too embarrassed to tell you how long this card took. Let's just assume I'm way slower than a tortoise by hours. I know it doesn't look like this could have taken me an inordinate amount of time, but it really did.
I don't have any tips about what you could/should or would do with this card. It's very elementary to say the least.
Later to comment. TFL

I understand a slow card making process, truly I do! Love your two characters going through the motions of birthday celebration. I'm sure it's interrupting a valued TV program for them. :-) Your colouring is spot on. I love the hint of glitter in the balloon and the ribbon floating by in the background. Your cork mountains are a great idea. There is a lot going on in this card and I love it all!

My husband looked over at me when I started snorting. When he realized I was laughing and not having some sort of attack he relaxed and I was required to show him what was setting me off. I showed him your card, and got the biggest smile. Which was really wonderful because he's been in horrible pain for several days. They finally found some pain meds that are working...sort of...they just take so long to kick in. So! Let it be known that you have made two old coots snort and giggle today! Now wasn't all that work worth it? Thank you! You were right! We need a little more humor in our lives. And as for talent: Anne, you have Talent written all over you. Just the way you put this all together (and all your other cards) just reeks of talent! Not many people would have thought of doing what you did with this cork...and the beautiful orange ribbon! Hugs!

LOL! Just look at the happy couple! What a fun image & card, Anne! I totally understand...it can me hours to get it right (or at least be satisfied with it).
