For Robin's F4A255 Baby It's Cold Outside challenge from yesterday, which I combined with Audrie's Stampscapes Gallery IC challenge.
I used THIS as my inspiration, taking the colours and the black and white foliage.
For Robin's wrinkle-free background, I used watercolour paper because I wasn't sure the salt would work on my regular paper. You can't much see it, but it is there. I nipped upstairs to quickly do that part so it could dry while we took the Christmas tree to the recycling centre!! And then, because I don't have bleach wipes, I flicked neat bleach over it. Then I stamped Flying Stars and embossed it with white, then added the dandelion and fern round the edges in both black and white. The white, with its frosted look, is what I am calling "cold outside". I added a sentiment and edged it with a black marker. Tried various bird stamps and dies but none of them seemed to work, so in the end I just added a few tiny butterflies, which I rubbed with luster rub-ons to help them stand out a bit.

Yes, utter loveliness, Sabrina. Love the gorgeous shades of plums and purples paired with your frosty fronds and leafy silhouettes. I did notice the depth your dimensional butterflies brought to this and was glad to see that I'm not the only one who tries some of "this" or " that" before finally settling on "the other";))!!
