really had fun creating ....I sketched...and masked.. and watercolored ...and stamped...and flicked markers...and punched flowers...and generally got all artsy fartzy!
I did have a happy screw-up.... I had made the brown color along the water bank too dark, so I wanted to lighten it so I put water down with the water brush and the rubbed it with the corner of a paper towel. Well, gee...that pretty much shreaded the top layer of the paper...but I kinda liked the look. Sure am glad I started out with nice thick watercolor paper!

You did a fantastic job at reproducing the inspiration piece. And yes, this is definitely artsy. All your efforts resulted in a beautiful work of art. I like the indistinct character of the water, bank and trees in the background. Looks like the style of some famous painter.
