really had fun creating ....I sketched...and masked.. and watercolored ...and stamped...and flicked markers...and punched flowers...and generally got all artsy fartzy!
I did have a happy screw-up.... I had made the brown color along the water bank too dark, so I wanted to lighten it so I put water down with the water brush and the rubbed it with the corner of a paper towel. Well, gee...that pretty much shreaded the top layer of the paper...but I kinda liked the look. Sure am glad I started out with nice thick watercolor paper!

I've actually seen that scene in person ... such a lovely respite in the middle of the busy city ... and you captured the serenity perfectly in your wonderful inspired design.
