I LOVE Roxie's sketch today!! It's so versatile and I expect I'm going to find myself using it over and over.
I used the embossed resist technique to create the main panel: french script stamped in versamark and clear embossed, foliage stamped in timber brown stazon and then the entire panel was sponged in pear pizzaz and island indigo (my new favorite combo!) then the edge touched with early espresso. The bird from Touch of Nature was stamped in the stazon and watercolored with the same inks, then popped up over the NQN retired ribbon and the pear pizzazz seam binding. A sentiment from Verve adds the finishing touch.
I really like this card! Hope you do too!

Holly, your take on the sketch is gorgeous! You've combined some lovely colors on the emboss-resist panel. I love this bird from Touch of Nature and the way you've used a couple of different ribbons for the horizontal panel. Yep, I really like it!

Holly, Holly, Holly, what a card of grand scale you brought to this gallery. Oh my, it's elegance personified. The colors are extraordinary and the bird is the perfect image for such a soft and warm card. My compliments
