Yet another wonderful Featured Stamper gallery for us to enjoy!!!
I chose artsy_em's Speedy Recovery card from one of several of her cards that I have in my favourites.
I made this card for a lady at church who will be celebrating her 80th birthday today. We've known her for years so I wanted to be sure to mark this special occasion.
Things I changed: Made it a birthday card; changed the colour scheme; used a different punch; 3 flowers instead of 4 (added the extra one on the inside).
I've glammed it up with some of my favourite shimmer paint misted all over the front. I so wish I could get my camera to capture that look.
Other than the Crumb Cake, all of the cardstock is random pieces from my 'unknown sources' bin. The flowered strips are printed from a digital scrap kit by Kay Miller Designs.
PT: Just one punch - but I punched it a bunch of times!

So vibrant and vivid - very cool. Great sentiment too.

No, No, No, that's now how it goes! Just because you screw up making a punched embellishment and have to punch it over more times than you ever imagined, that does not qualify for extra punches. Oh, how sweet someone you know is celebrating her 80th birthday. She'll love your card. Having the cross inside is just perfect for a spiritual woman of so manyyoung years. I think your card is marveloous, darling.

Very pretty, Heather...inside and outside. This is sure to make this lady's birthday a very special one. Your lacy ruffles at the bottom are sooo pretty.
