Once a year...whether you need it or not. Yeah, that is Shirley Mae's dilemma. She can get those dawgs in the tub once a week, but Tig? No, now that takes some doin'! See, Tig is on the road all year, collecting trail dust. Last year when she caught him she actually got his hat off, and that is where that fancy bathmat at in the background came from- tumbleweeds. This year, however, she only got him down to his drawers, but the hat, and boots, well...he insisted they needed a washin' too.
This card is for the Twisted Sisters challenge, issued by Perk to make a funny card and use a punch. I had no idea where to take this until I saw Holly's gallery. I used Copy Cat's Flourishes Christmas
as inspiration. I love Holly's layout! Copy Cat, your gallery was so much fun to play in. Many thanks to you for the encouragement you bring to this place!
Main image is from Viva Las Vegas and was a gift to me from Judy Kell. He is watercolored and the tub has a coat of Crystal Effects to make it shine. The inside sentiment is from Stampendous and reads "Kick up your heels! It's your birthday!"
Holly, hope your QFTD reign is delightful!
Thanks for looking!
Happy Birthday Tig!

I love western-themed cards, and this one is really a hoot! I love the masculine elements you added, like the mesh, denim, bandana fabric and the pillow ticking for the main image! Speaking of main image, this one just totally cracks me up! I LOVE this one!!
