Hey, hey Anne...you are one lucky girl to be out on the town in the big apple! I'll bet it was a blast. Thanks for the most interesting Pylones site. There were quite a few I could have gone with, but it was the jewelry that caught my eye. And a gurl's gotta have a treasure box to put those jewels in right???
I used one of the fabu stamps I got at my local lss garage sale earlier in the summer. It was $1. I stamped the image (Museum of Modern Rubber) on PTI sweet blush with Memento Ink. The tiny dancer was stamped twice...once to paper piece her tutu (Eva paper from Basic Grey) and the other time to be able to place the image in front of the mirror which I crafted from mirror paper. The hardware on the box is colored with a Copic marker Y28. I added a small copper brad. My background paper (Making Memories Sabrina paper)is overstamped with Purple Onion's vintage damask stamp. I added the sheer pink ribbon with hearts on the edge.
Now instead of fancy rings and such in my jewelry box, I placed affirmations to encourage creativity. Let me know what you think! Thanks and have a blissful weekend.
Have you checkd out my blog. You'll find me at home there!

This is so pretty and brings back such a sweet memory. My daughter had a jewelry box like that with the little ballerina. Now I'm going to have to go look for the picture of her face when she opened it the first time - priceless. Thanks for that memory today. Your card is wonderfully done.

I guess I got a little over zealous with my comments, wouldnt you say? Oh who cares, I mean really, who cares. Here's another one too: Look at you go girl with all these comments! And what was that comment about needing more ribbon? oh no, I'm not going there. I'm trying to turn over a new leaf. Instead, I'll place that on your shoulders...so lets see more ribbon!
