Love love love these colors today. Wondered how to get them altogether on a bg. So I tried the polished stone technique. Never tried it before and I must say I liked it! Quick and easy. That's what I needed today.
Wasn't sure I would even get to make a card. I had electrical trouble in the bathroom this weekend so I put in a new outlet. It worked fine until today. Then it wouldn't work at all. Traced it to the breaker outside. DH removed it for me and off I went to get a new one and another outlet just in case. Well I put in the new breaker and my outlet still didn't work. So I called DH and he said it has to be the outlet or another outlet that is feeding that one. So I took the other bathroom outlet out and low and behold I found my problem. Put in a new outlet there, problem fixed. My DH and I are such a great team, he gives me the tools to fix things and a few ideas and leaves me alone to do the repair. How sweet is that! You wouldn't believe the things I have done! But that is another story. .. lol.......
This card was done rather quickly, I made my polished stone bg before going to the grocery store. That way if it needed to dry it would have time.
Stamped my image on top of the polished stone, didn't like the look. So I stamped it, versa marked and clear ep it on white cs. Did this twice. On the second one I colored the butterflies with re-inkers, versa marked and clear eb them then cut them out.
Put this all together, layered it with black, popped up the butterflies. Sponged and doodled edges of the card I put it on..... well, what do you think?.......TFL :0)
Hi Sis! Up-date, my sister is feeling a tad better, but still sick! Maybe I send this card to her!

What a story, nutmeg! You clean pools, do electrical work and create magnificent cards, too. I suspect the list goes on and on....Love your card today; it's just stellar. Your flowers are wonderfully perfect. Getting ready for the big trip?

A girl of many talents. Love the colors on this card Cathy.. I didn't do this challenge.. My hand has been really sore.. I have no idea what I did.. My hubby says it is because I spend too much time on the computer.. LOL.. I said it was because I have to clean and cook all the time and maybe he should help.. Have a great weekend...
