I wanted a fresh look, and was drawn to these colors. (Ralph Lauren brand California Poppy GH170 & Manila GH154) They were the only ones that my husband and I agreed on, and they really brighten up the room! The new flooring helps, too! It's just *hot* without window treatments right now!
Ribbon holder is Rubbermaid 18 in W 4 tier door/wall rack - Item # 62418. It was 12.50 at my Home Depot. We cut it in half so that it would fit under the shelving. Beate has the twin.
I did add 4x? pieces of matboard to keep the ribbons from sneaking through the slats. It was not needed, but looks much better with them all level.
Here's a before shot: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers - there are more in my gallery if you want to see just what kind of a hoarder/packrat I am!

Jenn, what a great room, I would never come out if that were in my house. What are you using as your ribbon holder? I need a new idea for mine, the dowel system isn't cutting it.
After seeing this room, your is like a 5 star hotel, and mine is ready for the finest trailor park! TFS! LOL...Just kidding. You do have a very nice room. I just actually finished mine today as well. Mine is a little corner in our basement, the table right behind the pool table. That is where you will find me. Not in my own master suite made up as a stampin' palace! Hope you create and create until you have run out of ideas...that is what I would do in a room like this! Happy Stampin'!
