Today's challenge prompted me to get to work on my niece's birthday card. Steff has a 2 year old, a 2 month old and a full time job. She really doesn't have much time to lounge around in the sun with a frosty drink.
I got this adorable image in an image swap. I colored with prismacolor pencils and gamsol. The image was too big for my nesties, so I cut scallops in 2 colors and pieced the mat together. The flowers are made from punches. This card is bigger, it's 5 x 7.
Thanks for taking a peek.

Given your story, there couldnt be a better card to send a mom with such a hectic schedule. I bet she got a kick out of this one. Bet you both did; it's really a darling card! Your image is precious.
