1. Rocky is driving me crazy! He is so stressed this month. I tried to get him to wear the green bow around his neck and had to compromise by putting it on the witches' hat so he wouldn't flip out!
2. Being a new father to *Yikes*(Rocky's new son) is really stressing him out. I am not sure he was ready for that responsibility. He is still learning all about the world himself!
3. The buzz in the neighborhood right now is what is gonna happen on October 31st. Rocky has never had an encounter with a flying witch and to put it mildly he's scared out of his mind! He has to appear brave too for Yikes' sake!
4. And as if it's not stressful enough with all that's going on, Penelope the Poodle, that wacky poodle from up the street who thinks she's FiFi (the pink poodle) is telling everyone she is engaged to some make believe poodle stud named Champ! Rocky says just because she's got the whole neighbor-hood buffaloed with her nonsense, doesn't mean he has to buy into it! She's got everyone shopping for wedding gifts!
5. Rocky just has to try and relax until the night of October 31st is over. He will be okay.

This is wonderful, as usual. I love Rocky's story. I have to go back and catch up on all the happenings in Rocky's life. It can be a very stressful time for cats -too many scary costumes and all those little people coming to the door!
I love your creative artistry in making the broom, and the hat is genius! I'm going to borrow that idea for myself. YOu certainly were inspired by the Inspiration piece!

On the bright side, I'm glad Rocky is not a black cat. If this were the case he'd be doomed for sure! What color is Yikes?
Love the colors in your scene. Really hit the mark for the challenge, Mothermark! TFS your story and creation!

How absolutely adorable, Cindy! Your witches' hat is outstandingly cool, as well as the broom, and I love the word *October* in the crook of the number of 31. You're so imaginative!

Well, Cindy, I'm with Nancy - some warm milk and a lot of petting and Rocky will calm right down - you may want to keep him near until we get Wednesday over with - too much stress could . . . well, you know!
You did a fabulous job with this challenge - I am sooo impressed with your creativity (and imagination!)

Love this Rocky adventure Cindy. Although, being the strong, brave dad, doncha think he should take Yikes out trick-or-treating? Or is Yikes too young yet? Adorable card!! Love your sketch, the hat, the broom, the date.....soooo clever and soooooo well laid out!! Awesome Cindy!!
